Triple Breakfast Threat

The one thing I can’t compromise with is FOOD.  No matter how tired or how lazy I am, the only thing that satisfies my structurally tired body and mind is something to eat.  After I came to Thailand the easiest place to hit for basically any kind of food is 7/11.  Firstly because of the accessibility of the variety of food,  its location and its 24*7 open timing has made it very convenient for me to buy food from there.
The Criticism of Fast food stores are always heard of, so here’s what I did to break the talk for once. After a very busy morning I wasn’t really in the mood to cook lunch so I got a taro bread from 7/11 and turned into what I  will call “ Triple breakfast Treat”.
It’s a very simple presentation that can be a main course for breakfast on weekends or an entrĂ©e for a brunch. The bun had three layers so I cut it in 3 serving.
The first one is scrambled eggs topping with Thai Chicken topping
The one in the center is ham topping, (optional: you can use smoked sausage chips)

And the last one is salad topping (individual’s choice)
While making the salad mix I had a huge serving left to which I added red beans and fresh parsley and the salad is ready too.

Light  and healthy ,  I love to play with flavors , ingredients and recipes so I  come up with a new dish. Have fun making your signature food course. The one’s those go bad go to the bin rest u celebrate.

First Day# Birth Day# Blogging

Two years in a row I did not wake up next to a birth day cake and then I realized the alarm just rang “Welcome to adulthood”.   Not every birth day from this time on will start with my family next to me.  The expectation of what gifts I will receive drops down to the bottom of the wishing well. It’s a part of growing up, having to stop being self-centered kid who wants a birthday party and gifts because I just turned 23. There is no room for excuses and mistakes to be taken for granted because the dialogues will change from “She is just 22” to “ she is 23”. My first thought for the day, I was 22 yesterday, I am 23 today and the figures will keep changing every year but what will never change? I will be who I am forever and ever and that is what the most important thing.
A very strange habit I could not get rid of is that I buy my own birthday gift. This year as I was thinking what I want, I really did not have any thing is particular I was craving to own. i once made a promise in front of a huge crowd and cameras that I will never stop writing at the Mountain Echoes Literary Festival 2011. The pleasure of writing was so rewarding just by the reaction of the audience when we launched the book “November Light”. It has been long I did not write anything except my dairy which is strictly personal. I think the 5 months here in a new place and it’s like a rehabilitation center for me and I am finally clean of my laziness. I am ready to start fresh and start writing.

Blogging is one stand for interaction not with oneself but with ideas and cultures and experiences of people across the world. So here I am in the world of blogging with my stories. Credit to my very own Singay Wangmo Khandu for the inspiration and the Best birth day gift ever.
